Candy-apple-red stems with dark green red-veined leaves. Retains colour when cooked and very dramatic on the table. Leaves turn dark burgundy, in the fall with a frost. Sow from early spring to fall. Cut leaves throughout the season for continuous harvest. 32 days to baby leaf, 60 days to maturity.
