Annie Jackson Pole Bean OG
Russian heirloom brought to southern Manitoba Canada by a woman named Annie Jackson. This variety has been maintained and ultimately shared with the rest of the world by Annie Jackson’s son. This pole bean has very tight pods on high yielding vines. Fast ripening in the fall makes it easier to save as dried beans in wet fall regions. The round shaped beans are great for baking or replace black beans very well too. Annie Jackson look like calypso beans (orca bean) but burgundy replace the black patterns.
