Solanum melongena

When travelling in Italy in 2022 I visited a farm called Conca d'oro where I was gifted these eggplant seeds after being very intrigued by their story. They had claimed these were the best eggplants and could easily be grown outside while producing an abundance of fruit all season long. We decided to grow them out and save the seed to share on the west coast as our climate is very similar to that area in Italy. This is a medium early variety with dark purple, black glossy semi-long fruits. Mild aromatic taste, little bitterness, and firm pulp. Suitable for greenhouse planting, but can be grown in warmer locations outside.
