Slocan Snow Pea
An heirloom hailing from the Slocan area of BC, these peas were grown by the Japanese while they were interned there. We received them from Dianne Lucton, who grew them and saved seed for decades. These peas are sure to impress growers with their ability to germinate and grow vigorously even in cold spring soils. They can grow to a height of 6ft and will require a strong trellis for support. Your efforts will be rewarded with great yields over a long harvest window. Can be harvested for fresh eating or allow them to dry for a nice soup pea.
