A Mystery Barley! Was purchased as a 2-row hulled barley, but when grown out was an awned 6-row hulless! The seed company it was purchased from had no idea what it could be!! This gift from the Plant Devas is a stocky, short (30 inches) high yielding, 6-row, awned, hulless, spring or fall planted barley. Lodge resistant. Really easy to thresh and the plump grains make a delicious cooked grain. An awesome barley.

Growing instructions:

Direct sow in early spring to mid/late summer. Plant in well drained soil 2-4cm deep, in full sun or partial shade. For grain harvest, plant in spring only.
