Origanum vulgare hirtum

A perennial spreading herb in the mint family, oregano is easy to grow and  thrives in dry conditions. If left to flower, the blooms are highly attractive to pollinators. The strongly aromatic leaves can be used as a culinary herb fresh or dried as well as enjoyed as a healthful tea.
