Tithonia rotundifolia
A vigorous, drought-tolerant, warm season annual also known as Mexican sunflower. Grows 4-6' with a large central stalk and slight branching habit. The boldly glowing orange flowers bloom from mid-summer until frost, and are attractive to a wide variety of bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. Can be used as cut flowers. Deadheading spent flowers will prolong blooming.
