Fast growing spoon-shaped leaves, forest green and glossy with tender, crisp white stalks. Most popular as a baby leaf for salad and braising mixes, or bunched at full size. Mild flavour, tender texture.

21 days to baby leaf, 45-50 days to maturity.

Growing instructions

Direct sow in early spring, or throughout growing season for baby leaves. Seed in rows and harvest 2-5cm from the ground to allow greens to grow back. Plant in full sun or part shade, germinating in 5-10 days. Sow 3-4 seeds in each spot, and thin to strongest plant. Ideal soil ph of 6.0-6.5.
