Aunt Molly's Ground Cherry
Easy to grow, prolific, and super sweet. Productive plants have a sprawling habit with the plants and fruits resemble tomatillos. ½-¾" fruits encased in a papery husk that turns brown when the fruits ripen. Stores easily for a month if left in the husk. Can be used for preserves, pies, over ice cream, or in fresh fruit salads. Also known as Cape Gooseberries.
