Capsicum annuum

This heart-shaped pepper is thick-walled and beautiful. It is exceptionally sweet and prolific. Originally from Ukraine, it has been gaining steam in North America and is definitely one of our favourites for growing in the short-season Cariboo summer. Excellent raw, roasted or sauteed, this pepper is sure to please!

Growing Instructions

Start indoors, seeding 5mm-1cm deep, early March-early April. Keep soil very warm, give lots of light, and transplant into bigger pots before plants become rootbound. Transplant out when weather is very warm and night lows are above 12 degrees C. 10-21 days to germination.
