Lathyrus odoratus

This is a beautiful and fragrant sweet pea. It is cream-coloured with a blue tint. Plants produce 2-3 flowers on long stems, suitable for bunching. Plants should be trellised to three feet and will produce vigorously. All parts of sweet pea plants, including seeds, are poisonous if consumed.

Growing instructions

Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Or direct sow in early spring while the soil is still cool. Sow seeds 1cm deep, germination should occur in 10-20 days. Full sun. Plants require a trellis or some sort of support for best growth.
