Raphanus sativus

We use this radish as our kimchi radish. Sown in midsummer, purple roots with white flesh grow to 6-8 inches by fall and can store well in cold storage or root cellar conditions. In milder climates, these German traditional radishes can be overwintered. Seed collected by The Seed Ambassadors Project from the Swiss biodynamic seed company, Sativa Rheinau.
