Highly ornamental, frost hardy and packed full of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, chard is a workhorse of the summer and winter vegetable gardens. With a rainbow of colourful tender stems and sweet taste, this Metchosin Farm original mix is the result of 15+ years of our selection and crossing standard rainbow and bright lights chards with sugar-beet derived silverbeet varietals.

Growing instructions

Direct sow in March/April and plant out in April/May, 30-45cm apart. Can overwinter. 7-14 days to germination. Can also be seeded close together in rows for baby salad leaves.
