Solanum lycopersicum
Early-maturing, medium-sized, determinate red tomato variety on a heavy-yielding compact plant. Released in 1984, this variety was bred by Dr. James Baggett at Oregon State University and is ideal for Pacific Northwest conditions. Oregon Spring is parthenocarpic, meaning it will set fruit without pollination. The unpollinated fruits are typically bigger than the pollinated fruits but contain no seeds - perfect for sauce!
