Raphanus sativus

Sora is our earliest round red salad type radish.  Great for growing with kids because it is so quick to yield.  It's a very consistent variety, so plant in successions to give yourself a continuous harvest.

Growing instructions

Direct sow in early spring through summer in full sun and loose, well drained soil. Plant 1cm deep and 2-3cm apart in row. Keep soil moist and thin to 2-3cm apart. Harvest promptly avoiding summer heat to prevent woodiness and bolting.
