Helichrysum Bracteatum

This mix contains darker red-ish and orange tones compared to the other strawflower mix grown at UBC Farm that tends to be more peach colour oriented. Lovely for fresh and dried bouquets alike. Grow 3’ to 4’ tall and can benefit from support to enjoy each flower from what one plant has to offer.

Growing instructions

Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Germination will occur in 5-20 days. Transplant in early to late spring, 45cm apart. Full sun. Pinch plants when 30-40cm to encourage bushier plants and more blooms.
