Vicia faba

Sturdy plants with potential for high yield on a really concentrated window. Plants can reach 3ft tall with large pods with 4 to 5 seeds per pods. Dark green pods with light brown seeds. Slightly higher resistance to aphids than other varieties of favas.

Growing instructions:

Plant 1-2" deep, 2-4" spacing in rows 18" apart when soil is between 5-20 degrees C. Spring plantings are common, however in coastal areas with milder winter, they can be planted earlier (October to February) to avoid aphid damage.
