Curcubita moschata

Bell-shaped, tan-skinned, large-fruited butternut with a long growing season but unsurpassed for beauty and flavour! Highly productive plants have uniform fruit with deep orange flesh and a small seed cavity, making food for millions! Can store for a year given the right conditions.

Growing Instructions

Sow in a tray or pots in a greenhouse in April and plant out 2.5-3 feet apart in May, or direct seed 3 seeds per spot and thin to the strongest plant. Produces best with fertile soil.  115 days - harvest before first frost.
