Lovely red skin and white flesh. Good storage potatoes, Chieftain are noted for growing well at higher northern latitudes. Excellent in a variety of dishes.

Potatoes are hardy. They grow well in a huge variety of conditions. Start by plunking them in the ground and covering them with dirt. The trick is to get them out of the ground before bad things happen.
