Seed potatoes will begin shipping in late February 2026 to the South Coast & Gulf Islands. They will ship later in March for the east and north of Canada. All shipping will be done via Canada Post Expedited Shipping. If you also order seeds, they will ship together.

We will be offering a second round of in-person pickups in Burnaby and Aldergrove in mid-April. If you're local, you'll receive an email asking you if you would like that option. Once you have your order, we will refund the shipping cost, less our handling fee.

Solanum tuberosum "Sieglinde"

The gold standard for taste! Yellow-skinned, rich yellow flesh, smooth and oblong. Sometimes called German Butter. So tasty and buttery! Boiled and pan-fried or roasted, excellent in a salad or soup.

We plant in May and start harvesting in late July. We store unwashed though the winter, washing as needed for market well into the spring.

Potatoes are hardy. They grow well in a huge variety of conditions. Start by plunking them in the ground and covering them with dirt. The trick is to get them out of the ground before bad things happen.
